migrated from a first-generation college graduate to a social entrepreneur,
business owner, author, and motivational speaker. For over a decade, she has
served in legislative, nonprofit, and association fields, raising close to
$1M for nonprofits, managing budgets of up to $4.8M and building strong
relationships with government leaders, corporations, and communities.

Samantha’s passion is found in mentoring: developing young women into future
leaders, and helping women achieve their dreams.
As the Founder and Executive Director of Ladies Learning to Lead (L3), an
organization that prepares young ladies in middle and high school for
college, careers, and life, Ms. Sam as the youth call her, provides
mentorship, professional development training, and life plans for young
ladies.
Known as Sam to her friends, she believes in spreading LOVE, light, and
positivity everywhere she goes, standing on the principles of GOD in
everything she does.
Samantha was appointed by Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis to serve on the
Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention State Advisory
Group. Samantha was selected as one of Tallahassee’s top professional
African American’s of the year for 2019 to be featured in the Tallahassee
African American History Calendar created by Tallahassee Community College.
Named as one of Tallahassee Top 20 professionals Under 40, Samantha accepted
the Authentic Community Engagement Award with Tallahassee's Network of Young
Professionals.
Samantha serves as the Board Chair for AMIkids Tallahassee, and Fundraising
Chair for Tallahassee Healing Prayer Ministries. Samantha is a graduate of
Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Political Science, minor in
Public Administration and holds a certificate in Nonprofit Executive
Management from the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship.
Samantha is in the process of completing a certification to become a Youth
Leadership Mentoring Coach through the Youth Coaching Institute.
